Here’s a tip
on a term commonly used in the world of DJs. The Zig-Zag Scratch involves
using both hands, one on the record and one hand moving back and forth
between the volume fader and the record. It goes something like this (for
right-handers): with your right hand on the record, pull the sound back
and let go. Then, with the other hand, tap the record as it’s coming forward,
creating a small pause. After that, quickly move the left hand back to
the volume fader down a little. Repeat the process, if you want to.
