What is Trance
music? Trance is a sub-genre of electronic music that evolved from Ambient music.
Trance is typified by blending the faster drumbeats of Rave, Techno, and
House music with elements drawn from the Ambient style. The drumbeats,
while generally quicker, are a little more subdued in the mix and are run
through significantly more effects than other styles of electronic music.
Sonic textures are created through the use of long keyboard chord progressions
that last for several measures.
