Start Your EQ at Zero

Here’s a definite Don’t for all novice DJs. You should never hard pan all of your EQ knobs to the right. (I don’t know why, but many newbie DJs do this.) When you do this, you are severely modifying the sound of the music because you run the risk of removing critical information from the music. Remember this; always begin to set your EQ with everything set at 0, not at +15dB.
