Here are some helpful
definitions for the absolute beginner DJs out there. The Monitor Volume
controls the overall volume of the monitors, the speaker that allows you
to hear what the audience is hearing. Again, most DJs use headphones for
cueing mixing, etc. The monitors are used simply to keep a reference on
what’s coming out of the mains.
