Here’s a tip
on a term commonly used in the world of DJs. The Flare Scratch (invented
by DJ Flare) consists of executing a Transformer Scratch but instead of
tapping the fader, you are bouncing it. Each time you bounce the fader
of the edge of the fader slot, it will make a distinct clicking noise.
A one click Flare scratch will give you 2 separate and distinct sounds
in one stroke of your record hand. The only limit to the amount of clicks
you can get is your speed.
