One of the questions that beginning DJs always ask is “what kind of gear
do I need to get started?” The answer lies in what kind of DJ do you want
to be, a Mix DJ or a Skratch DJ? If your aspiration is to be a Mix DJ, you
won’t need a pair of Technics 1200 turntables in order to begin. However,
if you want to become a Skratchmaster DJ extraordinaire, you will need a
couple of more expensive turntables.
