Here’s a tip
on a term commonly used in the world of DJs. The Tear Scratch is also
much like the baby scratch in that you will not use the cross-fader to
perform it. However, the difference lies in the fact that when you pull
the record back, you pause for a split second in the middle of the stroke
before continuing. You can perform a Tear Scratch in a forward stroke as
well.
