Here’s a tip regarding
playing popular music at a gig. Always work your tempo down before playing
a ballad, or a “Slow.” This will work subliminally on your audience, preparing
them for a slow dance. It’s never a good idea to abruptly jump from 135
BPM to 90 BPM.
