Here’s a tip in regards to turntablism and the turntables themselves. There
are many turntables that will do what a Technics 1200 will do. All you need
to do is make certain that the turntable that you are looking at is a direct
drive turntable, not a belt drive. Remember this too, you only need a direct
drive turntable if you want to Skratch and Mega-mix. If all you are going
to do is spin, a belt drive will work fine.
