No matter what format
your music is in (CD, Vinyl, and MP3); it will be essential for you to
have some kind of index categorizing your music. Keep a list that tells
you the BPM, the style, the ‘sound color’, and notes as to what to play
after each song. You can keep this master list on disc, on index cards,
however you prefer. It will take you some time and effort to put it together,
but it is well worth the effort.
