DJ Mixer Fundamentals.
First, most Mixers
these days
will
have any
given number of Mono and Stereo channels. The only ones you need to concern
yourself with are the Stereo channels (the only time you will employ a
Mono channel is for your mike.) Each channel will have the following controls:
Gain, EQ (there are typically three knobs dedicated to this function),
a Volume Fader, a PFL Button (PFL is Pre-Fader Level), a Balance control
(mono channels will have Panning instead a Balance control.)
