Some DJs like to play
with their EQs as if it were another instrument. This is wrong, because
the human ear becomes accustomed a certain frequency spectrum. Once you
have the room EQ’d prior to your show, leave it alone. In fact, most music
that you get today is already well EQ’d and needs very little enhancement.
