Here are some helpful
definitions for the absolute beginner DJs out there. The Balance control
is for blending between stereo left and right. On Mono channels the balance
is replaced by a Pan control, which allows you to send the signal to the
left or the right. For mixing purposes, the balance control isn’t typically
used. All you need to do is to be certain that the Balance controls are
set in the middle.
